Cancellation by the Applicant within 7 calendar days of the event will result in charges to the Applicant of actual costs incurred by the town. The town may cancel an event at any time they determine that inclement weather, conducting the special event would unreasonably damage public space, or if any condition of the contact has not been met. The town reserves the right cancel an event if the space is needed for a Town of Herndon public purpose. If the Town of Herndon cancels the event, every effort will be made to establish an alternate date, if an alternated date cannot be scheduled the town will return deposits paid.
