Zoning & Subdivision Ordinances

The Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance contain most of the regulatory framework for review processes, development standards, and land use.  These ordinances are available online at Municode. The Department maintains user guides for sections of the zoning ordinance that are frequently used.    

Signs

Zoning code regulates the types of signs, permanent and temporary, that are permitted within the Town.  Most signs require approval by a review board or by zoning staff.  The Signs page provides more information on sign review processes and regulations. 

Zoning Enforcement

The Town has a dedicated staff of zoning enforcement officers that help ensure compliance with local zoning regulations.  The Zoning Enforcement office is located at 777 Lynn Street.
