The Town of Herndon Parks and Recreation Department seeks to obtain proposals from offerors who can provide recreation or sports-oriented classes and/or camps sponsored by Department. The Parks and Recreation Department is interested in attracting offerors willing to provide high quality instruction, personnel, and equipment (using Town of Herndon facilities) representing a wide variety of affordable programs for our community.  Contact us with questions at recreation.proposal@herndon-va.gov.

Do you have an interest or skill you can share with others? The Herndon Parks and Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to fill instructor positions. Learning new skills, discovering other cultures, taking a guided nature walk, or new ways to celebrate traditional holidays and occasions are all among the opportunities we hope to provide our community. If this appeals to you, we encourage you to submit a program proposal.

Days and hours are generally flexible to meet your schedule and hourly wage is based on training, certification and/or experience. Come share your hobby or interest—we are looking for something new to offer.
