Modifying Or Improving A Historic District Property?

Consult the Process Guide, Reference Guide, Submission Requirements List then complete the Historic District Property Modification Form, and email it to historicdistrict@herndon-va.gov.  Town staff will review and verify whether the proposed modification is exempt from any review or requires either staff review or Historic District Review Board review.    

Most applications for property modifications are reviewed by staff however the larger change are reviewed by Historic District Review Board.  The Historic District Review Board (HDRB) page contains information on that board and the board meetings.
