The Town of Herndon has entered into an agreement with Fairfax County whereby the county’s Department of Tax Administration (DTA) will collect current real property taxes owed to the town, as well as delinquent taxes from June 1, 2022 and forward years.

• Any past due Real Estate taxes due to the Town from tax year 2021 and prior have been forwarded to an outside collection agency. Please contact Taxing Authority Consulting Services: 866-951-0742 or http://www.taxva.com.
• Please contact Fairfax County Department of Tax Administration at 703-222-8234 for payment of 2022 RE taxes and beyond. 

The due dates for town real estate taxes, which will now be collected by the county, remain the same: July 28 for the first half, and December 5 for the second half.
