Downtown Herndon Outdoor Venues

TOWN GREEN

777 LYNN STREET

This outdoor space is 15,295 square feet and is located behind the Herndon Municipal Center. This space is perfect for outdoor concerts! There’s an elevated covered stage area, a spacious lawn, and electricity is available. This outdoor venue can accommodate up to 1,020 people.

Vehicles are prohibited on the Town Green. Restrooms are not available. Download the Town Green Site Plan.

Please make note that the Town Green is only available to rent from April 16 through October 31.

TOWN HALL SQUARE

730 ELDEN STREET

Located directly in front of old Town Hall and the historic Herndon Depot, this outdoor space can host up to 300 people. This outdoor venue is 4,500 square feet which includes the lawn as well as the patio area. Electricity is available.

LYNN STREET

All of LYNN STREET 

Lynn Street (a one-way street), extending from Station to Center Streets is available for public events.

ADDITIONAL APPROVALS

Additional approvals are needed from the Town Manager for requests that include street closures and the rental of municipal parking lots. Additional approvals may also be required from Town Council.
