The Traffic Engineering Center works to provide a safe and high quality transportation system for our citizens and visitors. Through maintenance and improvements of traffic control devices, signage and pavement markings, a safe driving environment with assisted traffic flow is formed throughout the town. With the assistance of VDOT, the town has installed a Centralized Traffic Control System which is monitored each work day by this section.
