Construction of the pedestrian bridge is now complete and is open for use. The reinforced fiberglass structure installed on new foundations will serve the community for years to come. In addition to a new bridge, work was also performed to correct erosion in the stream.  

An assessment of the pedestrian bridge that provides access to the Sugarland Run trails from behind the Hunters Creek pool and tennis courts determined that the bridge needed to be replaced and some of the erosion in the stream needed to be corrected.

Town staff hosted a “Pardon Our Dust” meeting on June 25, 2024. The presentation materials from that meeting cover the project scope, schedule, and anticipated impacts.
