The Town of Herndon Farmers Market has closed for the season.  We will be back the first week of May 2025.

This year, food scrap collection will continue after market close! Collection will occur in the same place, once per week, at adjusted times.

November 14– December 19 from 9-11 a.m.

No collection on Nov 28. 

Join us every Thursday between May and mid-November from 8:00 am to noon for a vibrant community gathering where you can connect with local farmers and vendors, sample delicious treats, and support our thriving community. Stop by and bring your food scraps to be composted! The program is managed by Fairfax County and operated by Veteran Compost.   

Please note that our markets are not able to accommodate pets, except service animals, for health and safety reasons. Please consider leaving pets at home, as the temperature on market days can increase rapidly and cause pet safety issues.
