Trees, shrubs and lawns play an important role in the environmental health and appearance of the Herndon community. Maintenance of existing trees and shrubs is as important to the life span of the plant as the initial planting.  It is equally important to recognize signs of stressed and diseased trees to prevent hazardous conditions.
