FAST FACTS

WHO:  The Town of Herndon has begun a Downtown Master Planning effort.  The Town Council has appointed a Downtown Master Plan Steering Committee and consultants have been selected to facilitate the process.  The firms of Urban Design Associates (http://www.urbandesignassociates.com) StreetSense, Bohler Engineering and Frazier and Associates will work with the Town Council, the Planning Commission, town residents, downtown business owners and commercial property owners to determine the future of downtown Herndon.

WHAT: Through a public process that builds upon previous planning efforts, the town's consultants are working with the steering committee and the public to create images of future downtown development.  The final report will include drawings and detailed information that allows a developer or property owner in the downtown to know how the town envisions its future downtown development.
