Concrete and Paving

Dranesville Road
Activities to construct a planned raised median along portions of Dranesville Road between Bennett Street and Tyler Street has begun. Construction is scheduled to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic may be limited to one lane in each direction during median construction. Intermittent road closures are expected during paving operations. Paving will take place from November 5^th through November 30^th.Paving will begin on November 5^thbetween Bennett Street and Third Street. The entire project is expected to last until spring. Herndon Concrete Replacement and Repaving Operations 
The concrete replacement and asphalt repaving project is planned annually to improve the safety of the town streets.  Schedules are subject to change depending upon weather conditions and/or unforeseen mechanical breakdowns. Message boards, flyers and/or handouts, and the town's website will be utilized to keep the public informed of any changes. During milling and paving operations, vehicular access and parking will be restricted along these streets.
