Welcome to Herndon Centennial Golf Course, one of the premier public golf courses in the Northern Virginia metropolitan area. Located in Herndon, Virginia, Herndon Centennial is the closest golf course to the Dulles International Airport and is an easy drive from downtown Washington, D. C. Set on rolling terrain with a mix of open holes, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, the par 71 championship layout will challenge the experienced golfer, but is not so difficult that it will intimidate the beginner. For your game improvement needs or just warming up before your round, Herndon Centennial offers a driving range, an 11,000 square foot putting green, chipping area and practice bunker. The course has been recognized in Golf Digest's "Places to Play" for 14 consecutive years and was recently listed among the "Best Area Courses for Women" by Pros n, Hackers Magazine. In 2009, the course became the 23rd golf course in Virginia and one of fewer than 700 courses worldwide to achieve designation as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for efforts to foster environmental protection.
